Growing next to our winery's brown barn, these vines are a collection of Petite Sirah clones collected by Jim from old Sonoma County vineyards over the last 43 years. Gentle grape processing creates a classic Petite Sirah without over-extraction.

The wine has a wonderful nose of wild blueberries, exploding in the mouth with flavories of juicy blueberries and blackberries, yet retaining the classic backbone of black pepper and structure to last.

This traditional Rhône Valley white grape has been planted in Sonoma County since the early 1980s, but recently it has become very popular for its combination of bright aromatics and round mouthfeel. The 2025 Viognier delivers a delightful combination of floral aromas and crisp summer fruit notes. Sourced from a small production ranch in the lower Dry Creek Valley, this wine is partially fermented in neutral oak, resulting in a balanced, supple texture that makes this unique varietal really shine!

Our 2023 Old Vine Zinfandel Reserve is a limited-release wine that was both lot-selected and barrel-selected. This esteemed fruit was harvested on the same day from two separate blocks of our Old Vine Zinfandel vines planted in 1908. It was open-top fermented and aged in 100% French oak barrels with 30% of the wine in new oak. Wine ages differently depending on the barrel, so the aromas and flavors develop with distinct characteristics.

The wine aged for 12 months, then Winemakers Blaine Brazil and Jim Rickards tasted through 40 barrels and determined those that were exceptional in quality. This barrel-selected Zinfandel was aged another 8 months in neutral French oak. The goal of this wine is to elevate and improve on the classic style of Zinfandel that this part of Sonoma County is known for.

This wine exhibits deep structure and a complexity of flavors and aromas that surpass the common descriptors and stereotypes often associated with California's heritage grape. Rich and spicy, with gorgeous blackberry notes and a huge juicy finish. A great special-occasion wine!

Our Sauvignon Blanc is produced from the Croft Vineyard, a unique parcel located at the southern end of the Alexander Valley. The vineyard was planted at an elevation 700 feet above the valley floor in a saddle that connects the Russian River AVA and the Alexander Valley AVA. This location allows the cooling fog from the coast to penetrate early in the morning, cooling off the vines and extending hang-time for the grapes. These factors help develop intense aromatics of melon and exotic fruit flavors, while still preserving the crisp acidity that Sauvignon Blanc is known for.

Now known more commonly as an Argentine wine, Malbec is originally one of the five "sisters" of the Bordeaux region of France. Somewhat a stepsister, it is typically blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to both soften the tannins and enhance the bouquet of the finished wine. Bottled alone, Malbec boasts an exuberant bouquet. This full-bodied wine, complemented by silky tannins, was aged in 100% French oak.

Our Malbec offers a distinctively New World take on the varietal that gives a respectful nod to its European roots. Alluring aromas of ripe black cherry, raspberry, rose petal, orange peel, and mocha lure the taster into a silky mouthfeel of consistent flavors, through to the long delicious finish.
