Our other Bordeaux-style blend is so popular we decided to try the other side - the Right Bank. These wines are known for their focus on Merlot, with other varietals adding to the fruit-driven character. Our blend is 38% Merlot, 38% Malbec, 7% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 12% Cabernet Franc, which is used to add freshness in the glass. Key flavors include plum and black cherry, enhanced by an earth nuance of truffle. The wine is softer, fruitier, and more approchable when young. However, the silky, elegant, and rounded fruit make the best wines made in this style more than capable of ageing happily for many years.
